What Chinese students can expect:

• good knowledge of German and English
• familiarization with western culture and civilization
• a strong sense of self-identity and confidence
• modern teaching methods and education in modern subjects
• to gain placement at universities

Prerequisites for applicants

• at least ten years of education
• a certificate stating the completion/leaving of secondary school
• 5 years of English lessons
• achievement of B 2 in English and German
• good grades in math and sciences (chemistry, biology, physics, etc.)
• willingness to live as a boarder, which also entails that the student must be mature, independent and able to express her or his own interests
• sufficient financial backing
